Is the Dutch financial system fit for purpose? This was the central question on the Day of Sustainable Finance on November 27 initiated by the Sustainable Finance Lab (SFL), the UNEP inquiry, the Dutch Ministry for Infrastructure and the Environment and ten Dutch financial institutions at De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB). In the morning board members were brought together with high-level policy makers. In the afternoon an audience of 150 financial professionals, academics and stakeholders discussed the meaning of the work of the UNEP Inquiry for the Netherlands.
