Mark Sanders

Mark Sanders is a senior lecturer in international macroeconomics at the Utrecht University School of Economics and is a researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Economics in Jena, Germany. He teaches a wide range of subjects at bachelor and master level and published a dissertation on the effects of technological development on the demand for skilled labour and various articles on the role of entrepreneurship in the innovation process.

His research focuses on innovation, entrepreneurship and economic growth, with more recently a special focus on the role of entrepreneurship in the transition to sustainability.
