Hesse is an associate of the Sustainable Finance Lab. He is also a fellow of the Erasmus University Rotterdam Platform for Sustainable Value Creation and an independent consultant. He has worked for twenty years in leadership roles, building and scaling teams. As a consultant, he has led engagements with financial institutions and their regulators, helping them with their sustainability strategy, transformation, and reporting. He is based in Amsterdam and has extensive international experience in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Hesse holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Master’s degree in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
