Gerdie is a project manager at the Sustainable Finance Lab. She works on different topics related to sustainable finance in the private financial sector, with a focus on the banking sector, the pension funds and the supervisor.

Before that, Gerdie worked as a senior manager at Deloitte where she advised different financial institutions in the field of financial risk management, climate risks, nature-related risks and implementing sustainable finance regulations. Gerdie studied financial econometrics at the University of Groningen and the University of Amsterdam.

Gerdie wrote the report Finding a way with nature describing how supervisors and central banks can further integrate nature into their policies.
