Gerdie is a project manager at the Sustainable Finance Lab. She works on different topics related to sustainable finance in the private financial sector, with a focus on the banking sector and the pension funds.

Before that, Gerdie worked as a senior manager at Deloitte where she advised different financial institutions in the field of financial risk management, climate risks, nature-related risks and implementing sustainable finance regulations. Gerdie studied financial econometrics at the University of Groningen and the University of Amsterdam.

At Deloitte, Gerdie coauthored the report Nature is next – integrating nature-related risks into the Dutch financial sector.
