Gaston Bronstering


Gaston Bronstering is a Political Economist specialised in the political economy of financial markets. He is a junior researcher at the Sustainable Finance Lab and holds a M.Sc. in Political Economy from the University of Amsterdam, a Diploma in European Public Affairsfrom Sciences Po Lille, and a B.A and M.A. in International and European Governance from the University of Münster. Prior to his work at the Sustainable Finance Lab, Gaston was part of the Global Policy Team of the United Nations Environment Program Finance Initiative, working on sustainable finance policy and particularly banking regulation in the EU and Asia-Pacific. Furthermore, he worked as a student assistant at the Institute for Ecological Economics Research and Doris Fuchs’ Chair for International Relations and Sustainable Development at the University of Münster.
