Dr. Friedemann Polzin is assistant professor at the Sustainable Finance Lab and the chair of Strategy, Organisation and Entrepreneurship, Utrecht University School of Economics. Previously he worked at the Sustainable Business Institute (SBI) in the framework of the projects ‘Climate change, Financial markets and Innovation’ and ‘OLPOMETS’ supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) in Germany.

He holds a PhD in Business Economics from EBS University for Business and Law, Strascheg Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SIIE) and a MSc in Business Administration from the University of Jena. His research interests include financing, sustainable innovation, (social) entrepreneurship, climate change and related topics both from a theoretical and practical perspective.
