Sustainable Finance Lab launched a succesful campaign on the Digital Euro

Last Sunday, the Sustainable Finance Lab published an open letter signed by 70 European academics and experts. The letter calls on Members of the European Parliament to resist intense lobbying from the financial sector and ensure that the digital euro is designed as a robust public good. It is fantastic that Sustainable Finance Lab, along with our partners and extensive network, were able to make this campaign a success. Thanks to everyone who contributed!

The letter received coverage in more than 50 Dutch and international media outlets, including the Financial Times, Politico, Central Banking, Les Echos, and NRC Handelsblad. On January 14, Brenda Kramer, director of the Sustainable Finance Lab was invited to explain the letter on Radio 1.
