Prof. Dr. F. (Frank) H.M. Verbeeten MBA is Professor of Accounting at Utrecht University and affiliated with the EMFC (RC) program at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. His research focuses on the use and effectiveness of performance measures and the design of control systems, as well as the influence of technology and Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) issues on the role of the CFO and the finance function within organizations. He has published in both international academic journals and professional journals. Frank is joint editor of the Journal of Management Control and an ad hoc reviewer for several international academic journals.
