Esther-Mirjam Sent is Professor of Economic Theory and Policy at Radboud University, where she has worked since 2004. Her research spans behavioural and experimental economics, economic policy, and the history and philosophy of economics. She earned her PhD in economics from Stanford University in 1994 and has taught and conducted research at institutions including the University of Notre Dame, the London School of Economics, and Erasmus University. In politics, she serves as chair of the Dutch Labour Party (PvdA) and was a member of the Dutch Senate from 2011 to 2021.
