IOS seed money grant for ECAF

A team of Utrecht University researchers from the departments of Law, Economics, Social and Behavioural Sciences and Innovation Studies led by SFL scholar Friedemann Polzin has acquired 25.000€ seed money from the strategic theme ‘Institutions for Open Societies’ (IOS). The grant allows the group to establish a pan-European research consortium around the dynamics of crowdfunding and institutions for innovation and sustainable economic development.

The European Centre for Alternative Finance (ECAF) is a research centre within Utrecht University. It has a central role in guiding the international research agenda on alternative finance, supporting financial inclusion and access to finance. ECAF is a joint initiative of Utrecht University School of Economics (U.S.E.), CrowdfundingHub and Sustainable Finance Lab (SFL).
